# Advisory/team roles (research, management)

{% hint style="info" %}
**Nov. 2023**: We are currently prioritizing bringing in more [field specialists](/the-unjournal-project-and-communication-space/~/changes/531/readme-1/organizational-roles-and-responsibilities.md#field-specialists-fs) to build our teams in a few areas, particularly in:

* Catastrophic risks, AI governance and safety
* Animal welfare: markets, attitudes

As well as:

* Quantitative political science (voting, lobbying, attitudes)
* Social impact of AI/emerging technologies
* Macro/growth, finance, public finance
* Long-term trends and demographics
 {% endhint %}

In addition to the "work roles," we are looking to engage researchers, research users, meta-scientists, and people with experience in open science, open access, and management of initiatives similar to *The Unjournal.*

We are continually looking to enrich our general team and board, including our [Organizational roles and responsibilities](/the-unjournal-project-and-communication-space/~/changes/531/readme-1/organizational-roles-and-responsibilities.md#management-committee-members), [Organizational roles and responsibilities](/the-unjournal-project-and-communication-space/~/changes/531/readme-1/organizational-roles-and-responsibilities.md#advisory-board-members-abm-and-field-specialists-fs) These roles come with some compensation and incentives.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://globalimpact.gitbook.io/the-unjournal-project-and-communication-space/~/changes/531/readme-1/call-for-participants-research/interested-in-working-for-the-unjournal/advisory-team-roles-research-management.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
